Foreign diplomats, invited to promote their countries to Timisoara Airport

Timisoara International Airport management invites members of consular corps in Timis County to promote their countries.

The meeting held at Timisoara International Airport was attended by the Consul of Serbia, Lazar Manojlovic, the Italian Consul in Timisoara, Stefano Mistretta, the Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany, Klaus Christian Olasz, the honorary consuls of Austria, Vasile Onofrei, France, Dan Bedros, the Republic of Moldova, Silviu Sofronie, the Czech Republic, Stefan Motec and representatives of the honorary consulates of Hungary and Bulgaria.

During the meeting, the director of Timisoara International Airport, Mr. Cornel Samartinean presented the results in the first quarter of 2012 and in 2011, but also the development projects of the biggest regional airport in the country. These include the construction of a new terminal, the airport expansion through a public private partnership and even the construction of a hotel.

Consular officials have received an invitation to participate in campaigns to promote the country they represent in the spaces of "Traian Vuia" Timisoara International Airport. Also, the diplomatic representatives have stated that they would present to investors, in the countries they represent, the economic perspectives offered by Timisoara Airport.
