West RDA has developed a database of locations for investment projects that have as a main target West Region. This database is updated twice a year by questioning the owners and/or visiting the locations in the region.

The locations have been selected by applying several criteria: the property's accessibility (existence and quality of the access road, a maximum distance of 5 km to the main road, flatness of the land), potential for utilities (2 km maximum distance to the connection point) and pollution (previous industrial sites, buildings that need rehabilitation and sites that need to be cleaned).

In order to have a broader view regarding the situation of the locations in the West Region, an analysis has been made that presents the number of feasible locations in the region, the total area, the average distance to the access road, the availability of utilities, selling price, type of location (Greenfield / Brownfield).

As a total number, 43 locations were considered suitable to be promoted, most of them in Hunedoara County (22), followed by Arad County with 9 locations and Timis and Caras-Severin with 6 locations each.
