The Local Administration is accessing European Funding for the modernization of Arads airport

Arad's airport will be modernized with funds from European Union, as a part of the "Transport Operational Program - the modernization and development of airy transport infrastructure priority axis".
The Local Administration approved three projects: the landing - takeoff track's extension with 350 meters, the arrangement of the embarking - disembarking platform and the realization of a new control tower and of a power station. Also there will be realized the beaconing of the circulation ways B, C and D.
All this actions represent a condition for the development of the passenger's traffic. There are negotiations with two airline companies for the passenger transport as well.
