The transport and logistics company, FM Romania: "We have done our homework for purchases"
FM Romania Company, part of the French Group FM Logistic, wants to expand its local operations through acquisition, an operation that will be initiated no earlier than two years.
The subsidiary of the French group provides logistics services for storage and handling that generate 48% of revenues, national and international transport (48%) or co-packing (4%), with clients such as Cora, L'Oréal, Yves Rocher, Roche, Nestlé and P & G.
Currently, FM Romania has a storage area of 80.000 square meters and two logistics platforms in Dudeştii Noi (Timis) and Petreşti (Dambovita).
The company estimates for the current financial year (April 2012-March 2013) an advance of the business from 21 million to 24 million Euro.
FM Romania has about 100 customers in the segment of transport services and 9 in storage facilities.
The French Group, FM Logistic, that entered the Romanian market in 2003, estimates a turnover of over 850 million euro in the current financial year.
