Skoda in Caransebes

The Mayor of Caransebes, Marcel Vela and Catalin Tisher the Director of AWS Company, a division of the Japanese Sumitomo Corporation, met with the representatives of the National Agency for Energy Regulation.
The meeting had as purpose to obtain the approval for additional share of gas required to heat a new location.
The Japanese auto Company intends this year to set up another 1.200 jobs in Caransebes for the manufacture of cables and wiring for Skoda car models, in addition to the existing 2.400 in the two halls, where are manufactured subassemblies for the Volkswagen group.
