Bigest employers in 2011

In the first semester, the biggest number of new contracts were registered by Lugera & Makler, Mic.ro, Adecco Human Resources, Trenkwalder and Delphi Packard Romania

The Romanian newspaper "Financial Week", sketch for the first time a ranking of companies that have registered the highest number of new contracts in the first six months of the years. Statistics are based on data from the Labour Inspectorate, using the General Register of Employees Recording (Revisal).

Among the top ten companies that have registered the highest number of active labor contracts are eight private companies and two state-controlled companies.

1. OMV Petrom - 21 534 contracts.
2. Central BCR - 12,296 contracts.
3. Bucharest Transportat Administration (state owned company) - 11,964 contracts
4. Kaufland Romania- 9392 contracts
5. ArcelorMittal - 8910 contracts
6. Raiffeisen Bank - 8793 contracts
7. Carrefour Romania - 7837 active contracts
8. CEC Bank (controled by the state company) - 7651
9. RCS with 6663 contracts
10. Securitas Services Romania SRL - 6335 contracts.

Other high number of employees companies are: CFR (railway company)and RATB (Bucharest transport company, local public administration owned).
