Delphi announced a new investment in Moldova Noua
The american multinational company Delphi announced a new investment project to be located in Moldova Noua, Caras-Severin County (near Danube and Serbian border). The new factory will reach 1000 employees by the end of 2011.
The new manufacturing site will have as main activity the production of electronic cables targeting the automotive industry. The first part of the factory is already operational and aproximately 2 thirds of the total will be finished by the end of 2011.
"The new factory will help us better coordinating our activity with the other sites located in Romania" says Mr. Gerhard Mertes, Global Sales Manager of Delphi Electrical/Electronic Architecture.
Delphi has morer then 10.000 employees in Romania and 3 production sites. Two of them are located in West Region Romania: Sânnicolaul Mare and Ineu.
