Arad is open to foreign investment
Mr. Klaus Brennecke, German Consul in Timisoara, was present yesterday, in Arad, to discuss with local authorities. The meeting was attended by Mr. Calin Bibart, Prefect, Vicemayor Mrs.Geanina Pistru, Vicepresident of Arad County Council, Mr. Adrian Tolea and the President of German Democratic Forum, Mr. Michael Szellner. Mr. Klaus Brennecke appreciated that, unlike other counties, Arad County is extremely open to foreign investment.
A project that will start using Romanian-German cooperation is the opening of a village museum in Zabrani village in Arad County, with the help of German ethnics who lived in this part of Romania. There is also a project of twinning between cities: Lipova and Saarland, Santana and Neumarkt, Arad and Wurzburg.
