World Bank approved the first tranche of the loan

World Bank approved Thursday, the first tranche, worth 300 million euro (equivalent to 423 million US dollars), from the loan of one billion euro for Romania to help the reduction of the effects of economic crisis, announced Mediafax.

The credit that will be granted to Romania will have a maturity of 14 years and a grace period of 13 years and a half.

The loan amounting to one billion euro given by the World Bank to Romania is part of the external financing agreement signed by our country with the International Monetary Fund, European Commission, World Bank and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the total amount being of 20 billion euro.
