International Conference "Cluster Cloud-Innovative Clusters, key drivers of economic smart specialisation" Bucharest, November 28th, 2013

The Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Economy organizes the International Conference "Cluster Cloud-Innovative Clusters, key drivers of economic smart specialisation", which will take place on November 28th, 2013 at Ramada Hotel in Bucharest.

The main goal of the conference is to debate the role in developing innovative business clusters by strengthening links between research development and innovation providers and SMEs.

Representatives of the European Commission, renowned international experts in the field of cluster and innovation as well as representatives of leading clusters in Austria, UK, Italy, Germany, Bulgaria, will discuss topics of interest such as:

• Cluster policy of the European Union
• the role of clusters in regional economic development strategies in the context of "Smart Specialization",
• strengthening the links between the economic and research in the development of innovation activities in clusters,
• the role of clusters in the Danube Strategy;
• Models of Innovation in Business.

Beside the high scientific content, the International Conference "Cluster Cloud" has a strong practical orientation and will include:

• C2C brokerage session (cluster to cluster) and B2B (business to business) in order to make direct contact with representatives of clusters / companies attending the event.
