REGIONAL OPERATIONAL PROGRAM

The 2007 - 2013 Regional Operational Program (ROP 2007 - 2013) is one of the seven operational programs (programming documents) made by Romania and adopted by the European Commission, and will be financed from one of the Structural Funds of the European Union - the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

4, 4 billion Euros have been allocated for the Regional Development Program for the 2007 - 2013 programming period, from which 3, 726 billion Euros (84%) come from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), representing 19, 4% from the whole Structural and Cohesion Funds allocated for the Convergence Objective in Romania. The rest of the money comes from Romanian public (14%) and private funds.
