Leather steering wheel for BMW and VW made in Lupeni
The local authorities in Lupeni announced that an investor that already has a factory with 170 employees, working for several years in Lupeni, plans to expand and employ several hundred people.
The company is dealing with steering wheels for the famous German car brands, Volkswagen and BMW. The factory operates in leased spaces on the "Vascoza" platform.
The City officials declared that they have talked to all investors operating on the industrial platform in Lupeni in order to support them to increase their investments. "We supported the introduction of natural gas, we had discussions with all, as there are many factories that have hundreds of employees. Now, we make the ring road in order to facilitate the transport of their production".
