Romania remains among the most attractive 15 countries in the world for investments in renewable energy
Romania remains among the world's most attractive markets for renewable energy, according to the new Country Attractiveness Indices report, released by Ernst & Young. The index calculated by Ernst & Young for the last three months places Romania before Poland and Ireland.
The general index, which includes scores for all energy sources - wind, solar, geothermal and biomass places Romania among the first 15 countries worldwide regarding the attractiveness of local market to develop energy projects in all these areas.
Ernst & Young report reveals a surprising development for Japan, which climbs three places in the ranking (10th place) as a result of major investments in wind energy projects.
Ernst & Young Index analyzes quarterly 40 most attractive countries in the world regarding renewable energy, infrastructure and compatibility with individual technologies.
