Labor and wages market to state and private, a comparison of 2011 to 2010

In 2011, the employees group between 800-1000 lei with those who were paid the minimum wage has lost most employees.

Average number of employees decreased, but there were increases in administrative services, health and manufacturing.

In October 2011 the gross average salary for the employees in the economy which have worked 21 days full-time was of 1.719 Lei (12.7% higher than in 2010) and for workers of 1.158 Lei. Average gross salary of the same category of employees was 1922 lei (11.7% more than last year) and 1341 lei for workers.

Over 30% of the total number of employees is performing occupations belonging to major groups of specialists in various fields.

The men predominate among qualified workers (79.9%) in machinery and equipment operators (71.3%), qualified workers in agriculture, forestry and fishing (70.2%), members of the legislature, executive, senior government leaders, managers and senior officials (61.5%), unqualified workers (54.7%) and technicians and other technical specialists (51.3%). The women are a majority in the following major groups of occupations: administrative officials (64.0%), specialists in various fields (63.3%) and services workers (62.1%).

The highest average gross salary was recorded in units with over 250 employees (15.2% compared to the national average) and the lowest, in units with less than 50 employees (-32.1% compared to the national average).

The distribution of average gross salaries by major groups of occupations shows that employees of the major group 1 - members of the legislature, of the executive, senior government leaders, managers and senior officials - have earned the biggest salaries (4818 Lei) with values ​​between 2772 Lei in hotels and restaurants services and 9035 Lei in financial intermediation and insurance activities.

The lower gross salaries are achieved in the major groups of unqualified workers and workers in services (1032 Lei and 1096 Lei).
