Michelangelo bridge will be rehabilitated and an underground passage will be built in the area

The Michelangelo area in Timisoara will be transformed completely in the next two years. There will be built ​​an underground passage that will be operational between Vasile Parvan Boulevard and Corneliu Coposu Boulevard. Also, Michelangelo bridge will be rehabilitated.

In this regard, a grant agreement was signed to rehabilitate the Michelangelo area. According to local authorities this is a European funding project of almost 70 million lei, of which the EU contribution is 98 percent.

The period for the rehabilitation of Michelangelo area is 18 months.
