Flextronics Company opened on Monday in Timisoara a special unit for medical operations, following an investment of 3.6 million dollars in this site.

Flextronics has begun the expansion of operations at the plant in Timisoara, which will include a special unit for medical operations and medical supplies for original equipment.

The investment in the new medical facility amounts to 3.6 million dollars and will create 350 jobs for highly qualified specialists.

Flextronics Timisoara was founded in 1998 and operates today in a production area of 40,000 sqm. At local level the company is one of the largest employers with over 2,600 employees. It supplies products and services to a large spectrum of sectors such as medical, automotive, industrial, telecommunication and ICT.
