The agriculture saves Romania? The first confirmation!

The National Statistics Institute announced that the economy grew in the third quarter by 1.9% from the previous quarter and by 4.5% compared to the same quarter of 2010. This growth of 4.5% is the best performance in the past three years.

The main engine of growth in the third quarter was the agriculture. This year, Romania has made exceptional harvests for almost all the crops.

Experts say that there is no accident, but the result of investments and better management, factors that will make the sector continue increasing in the next years.

It is one of the best increases in the European Union, the fourth after the Baltic countries. It is a provisional classification and countries like Poland and Sweden have not yet published data.
