Timisoara-Belgrad highway, a topic discussed by the Government

The Romanian Prime Minister had a meeting with his Serbian counterpart and discussed about the construction of a highway between the two countries. The relevant ministries were instructed to explore this opportunity. The Ministry of Transport will make a visit to Serbia in the next period.
Timisoara-Jimbolia-Belgrad route has a length of 178 km. If the highway will fallow this route, the Romanian side will have to build 50 km. At an estimated cost of 3.8 million euro/km, this part of highway is expected to cost about 190 million euro.
