ELBA has officially launched the production in Freidorf Industrial Park

The most known brand in Timisoara, ELBA is proud that at his 90 anniversary inaugurates a new production sit located in the Freidorf Industrial Park. The new ELBA factory it is a modern investment equipped with latest technologies and built entirely by its own financial effort.

The new facility which covers an area of nearly 19 000 sqm (of which the effective area of production exceeds 14 000 sqm) is hosting the Automotive Division, specialized in producing lamps and car headlights.

The new project was started on 2008 and the first wing of the building was completed in 2010. Then, fallowed up the transfer of activity from the old building to the new location, conducted in two stages: the production lines for the rear lights - in the 2010-2011 winter break and the production lines for lights - in the summer of 2011.

The new investment creates favorable conditions for strengthening the relationship with Dacia Renault and attracting new customers: Skoda, Volkswagen, Ford. It also ensures over 400 jobs, a healthy and safe environment and conditions for highly qualified training.

The next step is that another facility for manufacturing general use lightining fixtures becomes operational no later than the end of 2012.
