The first operational wind park from the west of the country will be opened this week in Oravita. It is a project of over 47 million euro. The wind park works for several months and it will be doubled in the next two years. The project will be officially celebrated by investors through various events taking place in Oravita but also in Timisoara.

The investing companies, EuroCape New Energy Limited Monaco, România Branch, şi LC Business S.R.L., have provided an area of 15 hectares in Oravita. They intend to develop, other projects on the production of electricity from renewable sources, especially hydro and solar energy. The investment in Caras-Severin is a part of a series of three similar projects implemented in west region.

The inauguration of the first operational wind park in west region will take place on October 21st, when symbolically a turbine will be turned on. The event will be celebrated also in Timisoara, at the Museum of Art. The investor's representatives will make a speech followed up by an artistic moment offered by "Banat" Philharmonic.

Also, the Government approved last week the order based on which there will be granted state aids through green certificates for renewable energy production. Thus, an investor obtains money from selling energy and from trading the green certificates on the market.
