The Arad County Council made savings of 16 million Lei at the project Julita-Madrigesti

The County Administration will open the road section Julita-Madrigesti, a part of the E68 - Moneasa touristic route. The modernization of Julita-Madrigesti road is a project that values 56 million lei. The total costs were lower by 16 million Lei. The saved funds will sustain other projects of the county roads infrastructure.

The road section Julita-Madrigesti has a length of 24.6 kilometers and the project presumed the rehabilitation of two road sections: Julita - Slatina de Mures, C 707 County Road, 15.626 kilometers and Slatina de Mures - Madrigesti, 708 County Road, 9.045 kilometers.

This project is facilitating the access towards a touristic area. Among the area's attractions are three natural reservations from Gurahonţ (the Dosul Laurului-Zimbru Botanical Reservation, the Bal­- tele - Gurahonţ Botanical Reservation and the Arboretum Silva Park - Gurahonţ).

By the modernization of this section, the road towards Moneasa is becoming shorter by 100 kilometers for the connections coming from Arad-Deva National Road.

The rehabilitation of the whole section between Mures Valley and Cris Valley will be over when the road between Madrigesti and Gurahont will be modernised. This road section has 12 kilometers and the modernization will cost 8.4 million Lei.
