The summer brings many tourists in Caras-Severin

Even if the summer season usually means seaside holidays, this year, the mountain areas became attractive for many tourists.
In Caras-Severin County, this year, the number of tourists was higher than previous years. According to the Statistics County Direction, in June 2011, 10.646 persons were accommodated in Caras-Severin. This number is higher with 14.6% than previous month and with 14.8% than in June 2010.
The most popular accommodations were the hotels, chosen by 6.496 tourists. On the second place were the pensions with 1.594 tourists.
