Unique investment in Romania

ArcelorMittal administration started the installation of the rolling mill, unique in Romania, which will produce from next year, in Hunedoara, rolled (metal) goods of Euro-Profiles range. The investment's value is 43.4 million euro. According to the ArcelorMittal Hunedoara's management the market research shows that Euro-Profile rolled (metal) products are searched on the Romanian and neighboring countries markets. The closest producers are in the Czech Republic.

The rolling mill will start to produce from January 1^st, 2012. The capacity of the rolling mill is 400.000 tons of rolled goods per year. At present, at ArcelorMittal Hunedoara are working over 820 employees.
