Industrial Park in Lugoj

Lugoj city public authorities intend to implement an old project of Lugoj municipality: to create an industrial park on Timisoara street, at the exit of Lugoj to Timisoara city. In this respect, the Mayor Mr. Francis Boldea met Matteo Montanari, the representative of the consulting firm DT Consult, from Tg. Mures, which presented "Sogefi" Italian company intention to invest also in Lugoj. "The first phase would mean the construction of a production hall of about 9,000 sqm, to manufacture parts for car suspensions for Renault, Fiat and Mercedes companies. Totally, the Italian company would lease an area of 40,000 sqm. The investment in value of around 19 MEuro will create about 300 new jobs", declared Mr. Francis Boldea.
