Raoul Ros has been removed as General director and chairman of Alcatel Lucent Romania

Alcatel-Lucent Romania abolished the unique position of CEO and Chairman of the Board of the company, Raoul Ros being removed from these positions that no longer exists. From the legal point of view the company islegally represented  by any two of the four directors of the company: Raoul Ros, Markus Schiefer, Tomasz Sztyber and Burischek Ferdinand. The decision was taken in the General Assembly of 15 November 2010 and published in the Official Gazette of 5 January 2011. The management of the company is now ensured by a board of directors (four directors mentioned above), who represent the company by combining any two directors authorization. Markus Schiefer is chief financial officer of Alcatel-Lucent Romania and Eastern Europe, Ferdinand Burischeck is chief financial officer of CCSE (the area that includes Central and South-East Europe and CIS) and Tomasz Sztyber is legal (juridical) director over CCSE . Raoul Ros remained vice president of the company for the South-Eastern Europe and senior country officer for Alcatel-Lucent Romania, still dealing with strategy and business activity in the country and the region, but he needs now the signatures of more than one of the four directors on any contract signed. Group Alcatel-Lucent has decided to change the management structure after the U.S. began an investigation concerning corrupt practices at the group level in Asia and Latin America, performed before the 2006 merge of Alcatel with Lucent.
