The hierarchy of waste in Timis county

According to the Framework Directive for Waste,  the selective collecting of waste will be done in four flows before the end of the year. In the years to come, Romania is going to receive about 2 billion Euros in funds from the European Union for the integrated waste system. Timisoara is one of the first cities where the dual collection has been implemented and has actually ended. Recently, Retim inaugurated the waste sorting station, that will approximatly 60-70%of Timisoara's waste.
