Arad Chamber of Commerce, leader of an environmental project

Arad Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture participated as partner at the first meeting of GREEN BUSINESS THROUGH THE EEN Project for partners meeting and activities establishment. The project, whose leader is Uniocamere del Veneto is part of the CIP - Competitiveness and Innovation Program, subprogram EIP -„entrepreneurship and innovation program" and wants to improve European SMEs performance in supporting environmental measures.

The project proposes a network of local providers of environmental coordination. These systems together with local authorities facilitate SME access to free and low cost services. The partnership is made up of chambers of commerce, technology and research centers that will ensure SME involvement and the skills required in the two areas. The total project value is 952,700 euro and involves 10 partners: Italy, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Slovenia, Turkey, Montenegro, Macedonia, Serbia and Croatia. There are provided 6 packages of activities, Arad Chamber of Commerce Industry and Agriculture being a leader of one of the 6 packages.
