Arad bridge will be closed starting June 25, 2010

Starting June 25, 2010, Traian bridge from Arad city, Arad county,  will be closed both for pedestrians and for vehicles and it will remain close at least nine months, according to Arad Mayor, Mr.Gheorghe Falcă. The Mayor declared also that Traian bridge will be rehabilitated alongside the second phase of EBRD project (from Boul Rosu up to the intersection of Calea Timisorii with Stefan cel Mare).

From 25 June 2010, people and vehicles will use Decebal bridge. The Mayor intends to build another bridge near Traian bridge and has asked 4 companies to create options, but no decision has been taken. Traian bridge will be closed for 9 months, with the possibility of extension for other few months, according to the problems and applied solutions.
