The Mayor of Timisoara wants to transform waste into steam and electricity

The Mayor of Timisoara, Mr. Gheorghe Ciuhandu intends to transform the waste in Timis County into steam and electricity.
"The deadline is July 16th, 2010. There are funds for closing the waste landfills as well as for the opening of the transfer stations. Work on Ghizela waste landfill has started", declared Mr. Silvian Ionescu from the Ministry of Environment.
