European funds for safer jobs

The National Confederation of Free Trade Unions in Romania, Casablanca Services and COLFASA Association accessed European funds through the Sectoral Operational Programme Human Resources Development 2007-2013 to raise public awarness regarding the safety at workplace. The Programme will last for 2 years, until September 2011 and has been launched last Tuesday.
With a budget of nearly 1.8 million lei in the project "Safety at workplace" will be held two training programs in two editions, will be conducted nearly 100 assessment tests and will be involved 100 persons in training activities. Ten social partners and NGOs were included in the project.
