Diplomatic visit in Caras-Severin County
Resita - His Excellency, Mr.Jan Kriva, General Consul of Czech Republic in Bucharest came yesterday in Resita.
The main purpose of this visit is the intention of Czech Embassy to open an Honorary Consulate of the Czech Republic in Timisoara, especially for Caras-Severin and Timis counties. Mr. Stefan Motec, Lawyer in Timisoara, was proposed as Honorary Consul.
"In Caras-Severin County live about 63% of the total number of Czechs in Romania by 3941. Regarding FDIs, at the end of the year 2009 there were registered 12 companies with Czech capital, ranking 23 in the top countries that have invested in the county, which shows the importance of opening the Consulate in Timisoara", declared the Prefect of Caras-Severin County, Mr. Octavian Ţunea.
