15.55 million euro, the entire budget for financing microenterprises - by 2013 can be accessed

Micro-enterprises can submit investment projects to receive EU funds, starting November 23, 2009. Budget allocation is 15.55 million euro and represents the entire amount allocated to this program until 2013. This means that once the projects will "cover" the amount, there will not exist another call for proposals in the following years. Mr. Dan Nicula, Director of Bucharest-Ilfov Regional Development Agency declared that the budget will likely be supplemented with funds from other funding lines less requested.

The projects will be assessed on the system "first come-first served", meaning the following method: projects submitted in a certain month are assessed as soon as they arrive, in terms of administrative compliance (with the exception of projects arrived in the last days of the month that will enter the next month evaluation).

The most important news compared with over last year funding is a pre-financing grant of up to 35% ONLY with the condition to have of a letter of bank guarantee for the entire amount requested as pre-financing.
