IDC Study: Labor force in IT sector in Romania will increase by 50% until 2013

This year most parts of Romanian IT market will have a negative trend, but the increase will begin in 2010 until 2013 in several segments, such as the number of employees, shows an IDC study commissioned by Microsoft. The study shows that the number of employees will increase by 50% until 2013 and the share of software will be higher.
This research shows that if in 2008 there were 45,619 employees in IT sector, this year the number dropped to 44,358, but it will start to grow next year, reaching 65,200 in 2013. The share of employees working in software will grow from about 45% of the total last year at almost 60% in 2013.
