In 2010, Romania could receive 7 new FDI projects

Romania is still one of the favorite locations
for foreign investors compared to other countries in the region. Our country
owns 15% of the total number of 46 projects for new subsidiaries that could
open in Central and Eastern Europe in the next
12 months, according to a Reuters survey in collaboration with OeKB Information
Services (a division of the Austrian bank OeKB) for July 2009.
The attractiveness of the neighboring countries has declined significantly compared
to the top recorded in April 2007, when 187 was the total number of expansion
projects.
