West Region is hosting the first edition of the Regional Innovation Fair during April 3rd-4th 2013

The West Regional Development Agency and the Tehimpuls Association - The Regional Innovation and Technology Transfer Center in partnership with The Fraunhofer Institute IPA, organize the First Edition of the Regional Innovation Fair - InnoMatch during April 3^rd-4^th 2013 at Expo Arad International.

 The event will benefit from the presence of the European Commission, the World Bank, the Smart Specialization Platform from Seville and the Steinbeis East-West Transfer Center and will offer a platform for networking and exchange of information between the public central and local authority, businesses, universities, research and development organizations and many other key actors from the field of innovation.

The event will include match-making sessions, presentations of national and international organizations which are active in the field of innovation, presentations of good practices, interactive thematic panels that are mainly aimed towards regional businesses and which will generate presentations and debates of different themes such as: automotive, clusters, energy efficiency and renewable energy sources, information technology and communication, innovation infrastructures and intellectual property.

Moreover, banks and national and international venture capital funds will be presented during a panel dedicated to innovation financing, facilitating the access to new funding opportunities for SME's and start-ups.

Innovative technologies, products and services will be presented during the entire InnoMatch - Regional Innovation Fair, in exhibition stands dedicated to the fields of automotive, agro-food, constructions, information technology and communications, energy efficiency.

Thus, companies and research and development organizations that will take part in the InnoMatch - Regional Innovation Fair will benefit from the possibility of promoting their products or services to businesses and potential financers, from interacting with representatives from international innovation organizations, also having the opportunity of entering the Innovative Products Competition and winning the Regional Innovation Prize, consultancy schemes and intellectual property training sessions.
