36 million lei are invested in Timisoara for research in the photovoltaic domain
The National Institute for Research and Development in Electrochemistry and Condensed Matter - „INCEMC Timisoara", developed the project "Renewable Energy - photovoltaic Laboratory ", co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
The total project value is 36.922.000.00 Lei, of which the financial support is of 30.000.000.00 Lei. The project is implemented in Timisoara for a period of 36 months.
The project objective is to develop an equipped laboratory with the latest specific equipment that will enable the design, development, testing and study of photovoltaic cells and of photovoltaic / hybrid systems by participating in major research projects, along with other national and international partners.
The public procurement procedure was completed recently. All the necessary approvals from competent institutions were obtained so in the shortest time the construction works will start.
