New Mobility Forum, 17-19 October 2012, Austria

The expert community will gather at the NEW MOBILITY FORUM 2012, which will be held in the Blumenhalle ("Flower Hall") of St. Veit an der Glan from 17 to 19 October 2012, to share their expertise on and to discuss renewable sources of energy and alternative forms of mobility. In 2012 the NEW MOBILITY FORUM will become even more international, offering both German and English as congress languages with simultaneous translation.

To raise young people's awareness of these issues, a limited number of scholarships is granted to pupils and students every year to enable them to participate in the NEW MOBILITY FORUM free of charge.

With the NEW MOBILITY FORUM the initiative "Lebensland Kärnten" intends to provide, with experts from business, research and industry, a platform that does make an impact in the entire German-speaking area. One of the foremost aims is to encourage and strengthen "green" awareness in people's minds, to be active in persuading them to further develop renewable energy production and alternative forms of mobility and to make these tangible for each and every visitor. Over the next years the NEW MOBILITY FORUM is to become the flagship for Carinthia's path towards a "green" future. Business and industry insiders and experts as well as representatives from science should come to see it as a central meeting point where their latest findings can be exchanged and the expert community updated on the state-of-the-art in the renewable energy sector and its application in the field of e-mobility.
