The most modern tram in Romania, Launched in Arad
Yesterday was officially inaugurated the most modern modern tram in Romania, called Imperio. It will be produced by ASTRA PASSENGER WAGONS SA of Arad. Impero is a tram that meets all current requirements in the field.
He will be produced in metric gauge and normal version. The tram has completely lowered floor, providing more comfort to passengers. Also, Imperio features ramps for the disabled and wireless access area. Depending on the number of modules, Imperio can carry 168 or 240 travellers.
Yesterday's inauguration was attended by representatives of the Siemens concern and the mayor of Arad. The mayor has demonstrated together with Blidar Valer, director of ASTRA PASSENGER WAGONS SA, that handles smoothly the new tram inside the plant line in Arad.
