New changes brought by the electronic work paper

Until 25 January 2011, employers located in Timis, Caras-Severin and Arad counties, will submit to the regional labor inspectorates, the evidence of calculating the wages for December 2010. Payment of the fee and submital of the declaration for the month of December 2010 will be made no later than 01/25/2011. Starting in January 2011 the employers will no longer prepare and submit the declaration relating to the commission owed. Under the new provisions of the Labour Code, on 1 January 2011, the employment record (book) will be terminated, work record will be covered electronically via the general register of employees. As of 01/01/2011, individual employment contracts will not be recorded at regional labor inspectorates. They are recorded electronically in the general register of employees in accordance with legal provisions in force. Also, from 01.01.2011, documents regarding the execution, amendment, suspension and termination of employment contracts, will no longer be submitted to the regional labor inspectorate.
