Traian Vuia Airport, certified as international airport

Traian Vuia International Airport has been certified as international airport under the new aerial standards. This certification has been given as a result of an order of the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure and provides an extremely important status for the activity of the largest regional airport in Romania. In October 2010, the airport was evaluated by a commission appointed by the order of the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, which verified whether this airport meets all the necessary requirements.
This certification proves that Timisoara International Airport is 100% prepared to operate non-Schengen flights.
