People from Timisoara will be able to obtain tax certificates by e-mail

The Fiscal Department from Timisoara prepares to issue tax certificates, electronically. Those who need such a document can receive it by e-mail, according to representatives of the Municipality.

The document can be requested by both, the taxpayer and by the notary if it is empowered to do so when making transactions.

The procedure is to file an application on the Tax Department website (www.dfmt.ro) - payment can be made online (the stamp tax of 2 lei) - and within three days the document will be release to the e-mail.

The Department of Tax from Timisoara issues annually about 85.000 tax certificates on taxes, local taxes and other local revenues.

The tax certificate is required for the alienation of ownership of buildings, lands and vehicles otherwise the signed documents are invalid.

The taxpayers must certify the payment of all the tax obligations owed to the local authorities.
