SECTORIAL OPERATIONAL PROGRAMMS

The Operational Programs (OPs) are documents presented by a member state and adopted by the European Commission, and they define a development strategy according to a coherent assembly of priorities.

The Operational Programs (2007-2013) are strategic management documents of the funds, and they define the development priorities for each sector in order to promote the regional development.

The Management Authorities of each Operational Program have written Implementation Framework Documents to detail the Operational Programs.

The seven Sectoral Operational Programs and their share from the total Structural and Cohesion Funds are:

1.The Sectoral Operational Program "Increase of Economic Competitiveness" - 13, 3%;
2.The Sectoral Operational Program Transport - SOPT- 23, 8%;
3.The Sectoral Operational Program for Environment (SOP ENV) - 23, 5%;
4.The Sectoral Operational Program Human Resources Development (SOP HRD) - 18, 1%;
5.Operational Program for Administrative Capacity Development. OPT - 1, 1%;
6.Regional Operational Program - 19, 4%;
7.Operational Program Technical Assistance - 0, 9%.
