The new minimis aid scheme was published in Official Monitor

On November 11, 2013, was published In the Official Monitor the Government Decision no. 848/2013 amending and completing Government Decision no. 274/2013 on de minimis aid for investments made by SMEs.

The new minimis scheme stipulates the fact that the maximum intensity of a grant will not be 100%, but only 90%. The applicants will contribute with 10% of eligible expenses. Also, the maximum amount of de minimis aid was reduced from 200.000 euro to 100.000 euro.

Another important element is giving up the principle of "first come, first served".

SMEs will have 10 days from the opening of the funding to complete and submit an online application form on  - the official website of the Directorate of Implementation Programs for Small and Medium Enterprises within the Ministry of Economy, which took over the management of the scheme funding from the Ministry of Finance.

To be eligible, SMEs must have at least one calendar year from its foundation and the CAEN code for which financing is requested to be authorized under the law, at least 3 months before completing the online registration form.
