Heidelberg Innovation Forum, 20th March 2013, "The Mobile Ecosystem"

The 12th Heidelberg Innovation Forum will take place on 20th March 2013. More than 20 innovative business ideas and technologies dealing with the topic "The Mobile Ecosystem" and responding to the increasing mobility of individuals and companies will be presented.

In one day, researchers and entrepreneurs are going to demonstrate the whole potential of mobile technologies in various fields of application.

The keynote will be held by Laura Kilcrease, founder and managing director of Triton Ventures, a Texas based venture capital fund investing in spinout and early-stage technology companies.

Since 2005, the Heidelberg Innovation Forum has succeeded in bringing together ICT researchers and market players in the early phases of innovation. Benefiting from several international projects, the matchmaking platform offers additional incentives this year:

  • European Conference „From Research to Innovation": At the European Conference, EU representatives and technology transfer experts explain how the research program Horizon 2020 will support innovation as well as the development of new services and products.
  • Fail Workshop: Contrasting the usual best practice presentations, four entrepreneurs present reports of failed businesses at the Fail Workshop.
  • Creative Tour: Optionally on Monday, 18th March 2013, it is organized a tour to the creative places of Mannheim and Heidelberg.

The venue of the event is Studio Villa Bosch in Heidelberg. The best business idea will be awarded.
