Swiss investments in Caransebes

Globernica, a Swiss company intends to open a factory of pellets in Caransebes.
The representatives of Globernica plan an investment of 40 million Euro in Caransebes, Caras-Severin county.
It is a pellets factory that would be built on one of the three proposed locations by the municipality. The production will be exported. They also intend o build and a biomass power station.
The mayor of Caransebes believes that such an investment, over an area of 10 hectares, it is extremely important for the entire region, both in terms of jobs and local taxes.
