More than 2.300 vacant jobs in faculties opened for competition

The Romanian Government approved a decision on launching to contest in 2012 the vacant research and teaching positions in state higher education institutions, which were blocked in 2009. There are about 2381 positions of: professor, assistant lecturer, researcher.
According to the document approved by the Executive, can be occupied vacancies of:
- - Assistant Professor,
- - Lecturer
- - Associate Professor,
- - Professor,
- - Research assistant,
- - Scientific Researcher I
- - Scientific Researcher II,
- - Scientific Researcher III.
In the 2011-2012 academic year, in the state higher education institutions are a total of 42.498 teaching positions, of which 24.134 teaching positions occupied (56.79%) and 18.364 (43.21%) vacant teaching positions .
