Geoagiu Bai resort a tourist star on the map of EU
Investments implemented in the recent years by private companies in Geoagiu and the local government effort to modernize the infrastructure of of the resort, have been rewarded: Geoagiu Spa resort was included among the European destinations of excellence in the EDEN project. Geogiu-Spa Resort joins other 23 tourist destinations in Europe as the most attractive on the theme of aquatic tourism.
Following the participation in the national contest EDEN "European Destinations of Excellence", with the theme aquatic tourism, Geoagiu Spa destination has been the winner. Awards will be accorded in a festive gala in Brussels on September 27, 2010, with the occasion of "European Day of Tourism".
