Expansion of Continental Timisoara

"Continental Romania" will build on the platform of tire factory in Timisoara one processing unit of raw materials and the investment in value of several tens of millions of euro will create 200 new jobs, declared for Mediafax the company's representatives.

"By building this unit, "Continental" seeks to extend the production process of tires factory for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Timisoara. The investment will enable the company to have an integrated production unit, which will strengthen the business in Romania and will increase the cost competitiveness", stated the mentioned sources.

For 2010, "Continental Tire Timisoara" planned a production of approximately 14 million tires.
